Rotary Peace Fellowships 2026-2027 are international scholarships covering the complete tuition and fees of international students. These are scholarships available only in case of master studies. Rotary Peace Fellowships Program pays tuition and fees, room and board, round trip transportation and all internship and field-study costs.

Rotary Peace Fellowships are given to 150 or less students annually. These fellowships are provided to study a Professional Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program in the area of peace and conflict resolution and prevention.

The Rotary Peace Centers have also produced over 1,400 fellows who serve in over 115 countries since the inception of the program in 2002. Most of them are government leaders, NGOs, military men, educators, law enforcers, and global bodies such as the United Nations and the World Bank.

Notable Exclusion: Fellowships are not allowed to be studied by a Rotary Peace Center within the home country of the fellowship except when the applicant is a candidate of Thailand which may study the centre at Chulalongkorn University.

Rotation Peace Fellowships Eligibility criteria.

Rotary Peace Fellowships are targeted at the professionals involved in the field of international relations or peace and conflict prevention and resolution. The following are also the requirements of the applicants:

  • Eligibility Countries: The world countries are eligible.
  • Good knowledge of English; knowledge of a second language is highly encouraged.
  • Superior leadership competencies.
  • The firm belief in the international knowledge and the peace, which is reflected in professional and academic success and community or personal service.
  • Applicants to master degree: minimum three years of related fulltime work experience or volunteer experience, bachelor degree.
  • Certificate Applicants: five years of full-time or volunteer experience in a related field, good academic qualifications.

What about the application to Rotary Peace Fellowships?

In order to apply to Rotary Peace Fellowships, it is necessary to follow the following instructions:

  1. See the restrictions on eligibility below and experience guide.
  2. Study the curriculum and programs of every one of the Rotary Peace Centers. In the case of the master program, you will be requested to rank the two centres of your choice in the event that you qualify in both programs.
  3. Engage with Rotary. To find the nearest Club, use the Club Finder. Another excellent way to get to know about the activity of Rotary in your area and the rest of the world, is by linking with a Rotary club or a Rotary district. Most Rotary districts have a District Rotary Peace Fellowship Subcommittee Chair contact who would guide and counsel on your application. A club or district recommendation is not mandatory but highly recommended as one of them in your application.
  4. Read the Application Overview to know what to do. When you begin an application, you are given an overview with more guidelines on how you will submit a complete and comprehensive application. Applicants are required to include original and genuine work that is anchored on his/her experience, knowledge and inspiration. Generative AI content should be discouraged strongly. An application will be disqualified in case of plagiarism.
  5. Prepare the necessary papers. The applications are to be submitted with resume, academic and/or professional recommendation, video and essays of the personal statement, postsecondary college and university transcripts (only master’s level) and English language proficiency test results (only master’s level), and social impact plan (only certificate). Give yourself time to order university transcripts and take IELTS or TOEFL examinations should these be necessary on your program. All the materials should be in English.
  6. Apply before the period of 15 May and February. Applications are finalized when they are submitted. In order to submit your application, make sure that you have added your academic and/or professional recommendations and Rotary club or district recommendations (not compulsory).
  7. Wait to be qualified and get chosen. In case you are chosen as a fellowship student, you will know in November where your studies will take place, what Rotary Peace Center.
  8. Get into the university where your Peace Center is situated. Getting the fellowship does not imply that you are being admitted in the university.
