AfOx Graduate Scholarship 2026-2027 is an African scholarship of undeniably full funds. The scholarship is provided in MBA studies in the University of Oxford. This scholarship includes fees of full MBA course, a living expenses stipend and one round-trip air fare.
Funded by the Eni internationalized energy company. As part of its mission, inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) of the UN, Eni funds the SDGs goals with strategic partnerships with other organisations in domains of shared interest such as youth employment, value chains in agriculture and renewable energy and energy efficiency, especially in Africa. The legacy of Mattei has been extended globally because since 1957 the Schola has provided scholarships to approximately 2600 young graduates to study an oil and energy industry “Master MEDEA” programme.

Qualifications of the AfOx Graduate Scholarship.
In order to qualify in AfOx Graduate Scholarship, the applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Eligible Countries: Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rep. of Congo, South Africa and Tunisia.
- Full time work experience not less than two years, to be described on a one page CV. They seek signs of career advancement and global exposure, and also the capability to demonstrate the potential of leadership. They do not seek experience within a certain sector.

Application process for the AfOx Graduate Scholarship
The instructions on how to apply to the AfOx Graduate Scholarship are as follows:
- You will be requested to outline your post MBA career objectives and show how the program will prepare you with skill sets to achieve these objectives. By mentioning a clear picture of the direction you plan to develop professionally, you will demonstrate to us that you have identified the strengths of your professional experience, have studied what you want to achieve professionally and how an MBA will help you fill the gap between the two. Attach all your academic transcripts/mark-sheets of the university degree to the online application form.
- You will have to attach a supporting statement as part of your application.
- Include in your application something that you are not covered in, which you would wish the Admissions Committee to know about you. (Maximum 250 words).
- When you are applying under the Oxford 1 +1 MBA scheme,e you should also submit the following essay:
- describe why you consider this especially helpful to you and how it will correspond with your career and personal growth goals. (Maximum 250 words).
- Re-applicants will be required to provide another essay as follows:
- What are some of your new additions to your candidacy since your last application to the Oxford MBA? (Maximum 250 words).
- The admissions committee will be in search of the following when looking through your essay: good communication skills, leadership potential, analytical skills, and fit within the Oxford MBA community among other traits.
- By means of our online assessment system, you will fill in five questions. You will have to take an online test during the application process: to literally know you, understand your personality and how you think on your feet.
- Two motivation questions – these questions will be answered by all applicants.
- Two competency based questions – they will be randomised.
- Written response – this will be unstructured and informal to demonstrate to us how you can think on your feet!
- You will also fill in the online application form, where you will be required to provide two references preferably of professional referees. After you have entered your referee information on the form, your referee will get an automatic email on how to fill the online reference form by the School.
- Important to note that they may not take references of Gmail/Hotmail accounts.
- Once you are sure that you have all the above requirements before you send your application form, apply with the help of online application.
- Do not leave out any part of your application and remember to pay £150 application fee when submitting your application.
- After having applied to MBA, they will apply the information that you have supplied to find out whether you will be eligible to receive this scholarship. There is no need to do any extra activities.
