Brief description:
The UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarship provides £10,000 tuition waiver scholarships to students from developing countries who are pursuing a full-time or part-time taught Masters course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2026.

Number of Scholarships:
Up to 288 scholarships are available for the 26/27 academic year.
Target group:
Students who are ordinarily residents in one of the low income economy countries (see the official website for the list).
Scholarship value/inclusions:
This scholarship provides a £10,000 tuition fee waiver for a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at 1 of UAL’s Colleges and Institutes.
Eligibility:
Criteria 1:
You must hold an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s 6 Colleges and Institutes starting in 2026/27.
• Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes or MSc qualification.
• You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK or abroad.
Criteria 2:
You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. Read more about

Criteria 3:
You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted. To check your eligibility, read the

Criteria 4:
You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application which responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
• Please tell us about how your achievements and experience gained both within and outside of school/university demonstrate your suitability for this award.
• Please tell us how you intend to use the qualification you will be gaining to support your future plans
• What contribution do you intend to make to university life whilst studying? How do you feel being part of the UAL community will help you in achieving your career aspirations?
